Ken Ishii : the new king of Ibiza　! by Liz Miller

Congratulations ! Ken Ishii has been honoured with the award for "Best Techno DJ" at the 7th edition of DJ Awards held at Pacha, Ibiza. Other nominees in the category included Timo Maas, Sven Vath, Carl Cox, and the prince Jeff Mills.

These last years, the DJ Awards became one of the most internationally acclaimed prize of best DJ's and those have mad significant contributions to dance music. The winners were presented with a Kryptonite to honour their work for dance music cultures around the globe.

The event this year was a family meeting, with some of the world's best DJ´s on hand mixing with all the press and the family of the dance music industry. The awards went to a host of DJ's who have influenced dance music across the globe who together with Ken Ishii included Tiesto, Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Paul Oakenfold, Steve Lawler to name some. After party continued at Pacha, with an exclusive Ibiza set by Danny Tenaglia in the main room, whilst Jade Jagger hosted her party "Jezebel" in the Global Room.
