When we hooked up I asked him where you been since I last saw you. He replyed
"not sure how many cities but about 70 gigs since I last saw you !"
At Fuji Rock 2003, their show was just a pure visual and musical feast.
The audience was just hungry for more!
After the show, backstage was a great time. Everybody chilled after their
smoothly run show. Its incredible to see how many people are involved on
this tour (around 30 + including band and crew)... To think back in the
old days in Bristol when we would try to fit 8 of us in a VW... Boarding
the tour bus to Tokyo : where because of the length of Daddy G he takes
up the entire back of the bus. We swap for a larger 52 seater ! With no
sign of anyone sleeping jokes were told as the wine flowed...
Monday was a beautiful day with 3d coming to my photo studio with guitarist
Angelo to say "hi" to my little boy Arthur and to talk about
my photo book which is to be released in november about the Bristol scene
from 20 years ago which the documents the roots of Masive Attack. Gee was
lost somewhere in Harajuku, but later surfaced where me and him went to
a wicked once a month. Event reggae night in Roppongi was a great night
packed full of japanese reggae nuts who were not concernered about having
a super in the arena. They were too busy skanking ! discography website |
